Computational historical linguistics: phylogenetics of languages and text traditions; sound correspondences and the inference of sound change; native South American languages (Tupí-Guaraní, Tupían, Arawan) and the Uralic family; lexical databases (Arca Verborum, GLED) and the CLDF ecosystem.
